Chrome, Ubiquity & Sweden
Posted on | September 3, 2008 |
Right now I’m sitting at the excellent Good Old in Malmö planning something really cool for SoundCloud together with the newest clouder, Nils. He is of course also doing music so when not clouding Le Choix is his project. Here is their latest mix:
Since I was on a flight yesterday I missed the release of Google Chrome but the first impressions seem to be good, well except for the EULA. Guess I will have to fire up my Parallels tonight and try it. My colleague Matas also sent me some stats after a test over at Mootools, this is what it told him:
my Safari 3.1.2. runing natively OS X jQuery finished with 378ms (ok) Chrome (runing in Fusion VM) jQuery finished wit 75 (omg)

That is extremely fast!
A thing that’s also very cool is Ubiquity. Ever since I got Quicksilver for my mac I can’t live without it so if Eric is right, then this is going to be big.
Anyway, I will be in Malmö until friday and then head up to Stockholm where I will spend the entire next week. So if you want to meet up for coffee or luch while I’m on swedish soil, send me an email!
