Chris Anderson Live from Media Evolution

Over the last two hours i’ve been watching the live stream from Media Evolution in Malmö with Chris Anderson via Bambuser. The discussion has been great both on spot and on twitter/bambuser/jaiku. Chris had some good points, here are three highlights:
On the subject of what to give away for free and what to pay for he dropped the following: “Give away the abundance, sell the scarcity”. Chris himself gives away all his ideas, thoughts and books for free but charges as much as he can whenever he has to get on a plane, too bad that doesn’t work for people a bit further down the long tail.
When talking to Marit Bergman he brought up the Kevin Kelly theory of 1,000 True Fans, it’s one of my absolute favorite blogposts, highly recommended. Or get it as a podcast via Listen To Blogs.
He also mentioned that people are willing to pay for risk reduction, an important point that’s easy to forget.
