Seth’s advice on equity

Just had to comment on this shortly. I’ve been asking friends and colleagues this question myself when starting up small businesses but never got an answer as good as this one. As many times before Seth nails a great answer to a good and hard question. His strategy is democratic yet effective and definitely one i will use next time I’m starting something up. Which might be quite soon actually.
“Today, right now, your contribution is worth 5% of the company and my creation of the company is worth 5%. The other 90% is based on what each of us does over the next 18 months. Here’s a list of what has to get done, and what we agree it’s worth…”
