CitySounds.fm in Computer Sweden

Posted on | August 10, 2009 |

The swedish computer magazine Computer Sweden posted an interview with me today. They asked me how we created and released CitySounds.fm in only 15 hours and how we plan to further develop the application. I hope I didn’t screw up too much :) Also, unbelievable that they didn’t link to the site, isn’t this supposed to be 2009? Read it in Swedish here.

Since it is already intregrated with last.fm - can’t we have scrobbling too? That way it would it would be a whole lot easier to keep track of and keep exploring good songs and artists.

In any case - damn fine work!

Fredrik: Scrobbling would be awesome. However, we don’t have last.fm integration yet so it’s would be some work. Totally doable though! We are also planning to enable people to favorite tracks on SoundCloud straight from CitySounds.fm, that’s also a way of saving good tracks.

    And thanks for the love!

Just curious, it show 808 tracks for Berlin but I can only listen to 8 or so listed on the drop down. is that right or is there a glitch in my attempt?

Steve: We only show the latest 8 tracks for now. But this week there will be a new version of the site out which enables you to see more from each city! Hang tight!

Music stopped playing for no apparent reason. Frustrating….
