Jyri & Tariq on Jolicloud
One of the more interesting software projects right now is Tariq Krim’s Jolicloud. I mentioned it shortly a while back when my project The Cloud Player was spotted in a demo. The development seem to be coming along well and I hope that their beta program will be extended to more people soon. I believe [...]
How to fail with a UI
Things like these makes me so frustrated. This is how the Tele2 (a big Swedish ISP) mobile broadband client works when you try to log in, watch and (don’t) learn:
Looks ok right? No, notice which of the buttons that has default focus and thereby the action of the return key. As if canceling would be [...]
Music Hack Day Revisited
Here we go again. Me, David, Leo & Jocke are now sitting at Radialsystem V in Berlin wating for the hacking to start. Our project for this time is to port CitySounds.fm into a kick-ass iPhone application so you can carry music from your favorite cities with you around the clock. At 12:00 tomorrow we [...]

The site pulls in its streams from the excellent SoundCloud.com, then uses the location tags of the artists and listeners who have uploaded music [...]

Went to Berlin to help SoundCloud with the new Facebook integration.
Finished the two weeks with a trip to Barcelona and Sónar, awesome!
Met Thomas Bangalter again, he is still my no. 1 hero.
Tagged along Felix to visit Martin Varsavsky on Menorca where he held Techtalks.
Martin wrote about The Cloud Player and likes it.
Moved into new offices [...]
Our player in the Jolicloud
Yesterday Tariq Krim (Netvibes) and his team released an alpha of their new cloud based OS for netbooks Jolicloud to developers. It’s a new kind of OS that lives in the cloud and has support for, except for web apps of course, Windows, AIR and Linux applications.
Me and Eric were also very pleased when we [...]
Two and a half years of stickering
As nerdy as it get’s on this blog, my macbook’s sticker history.
Stockholm Tech Meetups
I love tech meetups. And although there are many of them here in Stockholm they are not always easy to find, especially not if you’re visiting or new on the tech scene. Because of that i started compiling a list of recurring meetups I like or heard good things about. This list is nowhere complete [...]
